The Team Behind VCVX

Before founding VCVX, Rakhi built a distinguished career spanning more than two decades across global procurement, sourcing, supply chain, risk, compliance, and supplier management. Most recently, as VP, Global Head of Procurement Risk, Inclusive Sourcing & U.S. Government Contract Compliance at Sanofi, she led strategic initiatives in supplier risk, responsible and inclusive sourcing, regulatory compliance, and supply chain resilience.

Her career spans senior leadership at some of the world's most respected healthcare and life sciences companies—Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Bristol Myers Squibb—building deep expertise in procurement transformation, third-party risk management, supplier relationship management, negotiation, inclusive sourcing, responsible sourcing, and U.S. government contract compliance.

Today, Rakhi channels that experience into VCVX, building cloud-based platforms that transform fragmented, manual processes into connected, intelligent, and future-ready digital ecosystems—turning complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions.

Rakhi holds an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Southern Indiana and an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. A recognized negotiation and risk management expert, she has authored numerous articles in Inside Supply Management, the publication of the Institute for Supply Management.

Beyond her corporate and entrepreneurial work, Rakhi has been a dedicated force in advancing entrepreneurship, supplier inclusion, and economic opportunity. She served as an Executive Board Member of NaVOBA, a nonprofit advocating for veteran-owned businesses, and is the founding member and President Emeritus of DISCOVER, an initiative she led for six years.

Her public engagement includes participating in New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s AI Task Force and championing the Indian diaspora and community organizations across the New Jersey/New York region.

Throughout her career, Rakhi has championed small and diverse businesses through mentorship, coaching, advocacy, and access to corporate opportunities—proving that inclusive sourcing strengthens supply chains, expands innovation, and creates measurable economic value.

Her leadership has earned wide-ranging recognition. In 2025, Rakhi was named among the Top 100 Women in Procurement and honored by BJANA during its 50th Anniversary Gala. In 2024, Femina India featured her as one of the trailblazing Women of the East in recognition of International Women's Day. She was also included in the 125th Anniversary Edition of Marquis Who's Who in 2023.

Additional honors include recognition among the Top 10 Most Inspiring Leaders to Follow in DEI, a Women's Leadership Award in Supply Chain from the USC Marshall School of Business, and a tribute from BAPS for her contributions at the opening celebrations of the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
